Privacy Policy

Mom, We understand that it’s important to know exactly how we handle your privacy for you and your child.

Policy

Except as expressly provided in this Privacy Policy, we won’t share or sell your personal information

Except as expressly provided in this Privacy Policy, we won’t reveal your identity or share or sell your personal information (including your email) with anyone without your permission.

We may share or sell deidentifying data for research and share or sell anonymous data for marketing

With your consent, we may share or sell data (i.e., personal data that cannot be attributed to you without the use of additional information, such as a code, which will be kept secure by Moms Kidz.) for purposes of research. We may also share or sell anonymous data for marketing. We will never sell your contact details (including email address and phone number).

We will use data anonymously to improve Moms Kidz.

We’ll collect bits of information along the way to improve our services (like cookies, usage data, etc.), but those will not be connected to any of your personal information.

We will get your permission to email you

We’ll get your permission to send you emails about new features, helpful tips, or information about partnerships between Moms Kidz and other companies, including information about products that may be of interest to you. For any of these non-service related emails, you can change your mind and stop receiving them at any time.

We always tell you the reasons we’re collecting info

Here are a few key things:

Email address

We use your email address to create your account (that’s how you’ll log in) and to send service-related emails (like if you need to reset your password). We’ll never provide your email to another company, and you can decide if you want to receive non-service-related emails from us.

Name

We ask for names so that we can personalize the Moms Kidz experience. Except as expressly provided in this Privacy Policy, we don’t share names or any other identifying information in the data we collect.

Date of Birth

We ask for date of birth to make sure users are old enough to use Moms Kidz and to learn about their demographics. With your consent, researchers use randomly shifted dates – not the actual dates users provide – to better understand the health needs of various age groups.

Gender and Birth Sex

We ask for gender and sex assigned at birth to personalize Moms Kidz and to learn about the demographics of our users. With your consent, researchers use this deidentifying data to better understand the health needs of different populations and work towards resolving disparities in care.

Residence

We ask for country or U.S. state of residence to learn more about the demographics of our users. We also use this information to help us meet legal requirements specific to your location.

Race and Ethnicity

We ask for race and ethnicity to allow users to express it if they want to, and to learn about the demographics of our users. With your consent, researchers use this deidentifying data to better understand the health needs of different populations and work towards resolving disparities in care.

Health Information

You can, at your discretion, choose to enter information about your health or the health of your loved ones into Moms Kidz. All health-related fields are optional. We use this information to provide the Moms Kidz service. With your consent, researchers use this deidentifying data to better understand disease progression, response to treatment, and the healthcare needs of various populations.
